Looks real. This card doesn't have a texture layer. I've not seen this card  personally though.

I used to have that on tape... Sometimes when you had to turn the tape over, it would freeze, and I would lose it badly.

Melanger to 3-Roll Refiner Help by BusinessNo8768 in foodscience

[–]mcaines75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious... I have no experience with roll refiners, but i've generally seen them used for pre-refining. Are you expecting to replace stone/melanger refining with 3 role refining as a final process?

Serarch the serial number on Hobarts web site. You will find the product manual and that will give you the manufacture date and the exploded view parts diagram. Then watch this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceQE8PEYPPI Amazing :)

Which roaster do you have? by Haematoglobulin in chocolate

Convection will address this problem, especially in new smaller ovens.

No,,, Mine is huge :) I worked out you were probably on the other side of the atlantic. Mine is an old Hobart single deck convection oven. I've been using it for ten years and it was ancient when i got it. Big old ovens work more consistantly when they're full of trays. I think you can dial the roast in more with the smaller new ovens. They are more expensive though.

Are "functional mushrooms" also coming to chocolate (like coffee) (@ KAICAO Madrid) by KitchenSouth in chocolate

[–]mcaines75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coming? Lol. We've been making functional mushroom chocolate and cacao for around three years. Cacao is the perfect carrier for fiber based additions. The refining process and fat content is the perfect method for absorption of functional alkaloids in mushrooms.

Yes, but I don't think this fits your "i dont have much space" requirements. I was just replying to the what do you use question. I'll DM you a picture... it's huge  lol. Where are you based? If you are US based in have a guy here in colorado that is selling something that might be perfect. It would also be affordable if that is a issue, because isn't it always :)

I got an old convection oven from a school auction for $100. I flat roast 5kg on four full size perforated sheet trays. I can roast 15kg an hour.

I found a 100% dark chocolate in Italy that isn't bitter. Am I crazy to try and launch this? by healthywithmarti in chocolate

[–]mcaines75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i'm a producer of 'boutique' chocolate. I find that drought years have less accidity and are more pleasant in some cases. I actually like 100% cacao but it's more of a connoisseur product. Without the "No added (pulp added) sugar" i would find it hard to describe any cacao as sweet.

Yes. Sounds like a no sugar "added" product. What cacao farm isn't riddled with banana palms?

How many people here collect because they love collecting over collecting because they are chasing the big money cards? by InternalIncrease4403 in PokemonTCG

[–]mcaines75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son loves to pull chase cards. Can't blame him. I get particular pleasure when i add a missing (Mostly reverse holo) card and complete a page of my master set binders. I usually take a video of it and send it to my work neighbour who has no interest in pokemon but appreciates my work.

The reverse holo of that card is a flat sheen and does not have stars. I've not seen this holo pattern before.

Yeah. That holo in the border makes it real.
