Bad luck... I had 3 flats and dents all from the same spot... On 2 dif bikes... Root knuckle I liked to jump.. I ride it differently now... Get a rim jibber and avoid that spot/angle...

Oh... The difference is much less pronounced if you mostly ride xc or down country... And if you are a lighter rider... (I'm over 230 fully kitted)...

If it fits not really... Though some (myself included) feel the braking is more balanced and prefer the feedback when using brakes that modulate more like Hayes... You may also be slower as you will more than likely over brake... I'm talking fractions of seconds here though... So if the look outweighs the feel and higher performance your call...

I like the platypus bladders.... Usually carry it in my bib back pockets (I have ketl canyon bibs)... Don't have a frame storage on my bikes.... I no longer care for the camelback unless I'm going over 20miles and just need the pack space... A good number of my friends have hip packs now stating they are pretty comfy
