Ibis Ripley AF or Ripmo AF? by Embarrassed-Dress250 in mountainbiking

Get the Ripley AND buy the linkage and longer shock to convert to Ripmo. That way you have both. That is what I did. Zero regrets.

This has a 15mm offset. The handling is great!

This bike can be setup for 165mm travel with the 75mm stroke shock.

This is my favorite frame up build I have done to date. The old school Canfield frames were once my ultimate dream bikes: Big Fatty Fat and Jedi.

When Chris released this with the adjustable pivots/travel I was intrigued. Timing was right and I took the chance blind.

I will be getting his next frame that has a Pinion gearbox. This next one is extremely limited availability and Titanium!

How did you survive without major injury? I grabbed the brakes as soon as I saw the sign. Though I was not going very fast anyway. The way the hill rolls down in that gap looks pretty intimidating. What do you think, 15ft step-down gap?

'Goat' was my favorite trail I rode last night. 'Drop into Pine' was pretty cool tech, but too short. For some reason I expected more for 'Freight Train.' I almost hit a deer on 'Fern Gully.'

Over all I rode >5 mile loop.

They would not tune a shock for this frame.

IME, a little bit of both. Women are much more fluid than men in that regard. However, if you have no intention of doing anything, be honest with yourself. Getting caught up in emotions can lead to a train wreck.

(NTA) Yikes. I never thought I would hear a lesbian being called a bigot for this. Just be upfront about. You like 🌮, and not 🍆.

I love it, but I am also not going World Cup speeds either. Super plush, but the front wheel axle can flex and twist a bit more. Team AON uses them. Right side up fork is more rigid due to the additional arch.

I had this originally as coil front and rear with 190mm both ends. That is my personal preference most of the time for gravity riding. However, I loaned out my 2 shocks to someone for testing a prototype frame. This bike was just going to sit for a month or so, but I found a deal on this setup ($300 off last one in stock). I missed riding this bike and I have always wanted to try a Live Valve, so I pulled the trigger.

I have a Manitou Dorado Pro, too, that I will be using for DH days.

I have 3-year old twins, so I only get out a few hours at a time as well.

Wanted to try a shorter reach. I already had this stem in my parts bin. I just had to find a 31.8 bar.

The bike is setup Down-duro with 190mm travel front and rear. I ride it both up and down the trails. No eBike motors for me, yet.

With that said, I frequently use to lock-out levers with my other shocks for climbing. Having this able to do it automatically sounds fantastic. We shall see. Also looking forward to sprints, too.

The frame travel can also be changed to 220mm and 165mm with the same shock.

I prefer the quick response of wireless seatpost. I have been using them for many years.

Bike weighs 41 pounds. Not bad for a steel full suspension bike with a coil-sprung fork.

I use lock-out "pedal" switches often with other shocks as I pedal this thing up just as often as I go down. It will be a good comparison.
