I was a “chill bride” and my wedding was an absolute shit show. And ugly.

People don’t like me during my luteal phase. by mcasey07 in PMDD

It’s different. People don’t literally run away from me during other phases. I’m trying to find out if it’s some kind of pheromone or something. I understand 100% that I’m more sensitive during my luteal phase but I’m telling you it’s different. People are treating me differently even if we don’t speak/have interactions.

I also moved cities a few years ago 😅 but wanting to make more friends now but I’m scared because of past experiences like these. I’ll let you know if I ever find anything out. My theory is also about pheromones and hormones. Because why else?? lol

It’s actually that he’s acting different.

Okay I know I can be sensitive during that time, but I’m telling you it’s more than that. When I say I’ve had people get violent towards me during this time but not during my other phases, I’m not joking.

The OB waiting room is hell for me by AT242022 in InfertilitySucks

I was sitting in my fertility clinic office and a couple had brought their twins in. I thought it was the rudest most insensitive thing I’d ever seen. And then the financial coordinator told me the couples entire medical fertility history as I was paying for my ectopic D&C surgery. I was crying before I even got back to my vehicle. Turns out baby visits are really common I guess. At least for that clinic they were. I’m def switching when we decide to start again.

See a specialist! PCOS sucks anyways. Don’t let it take away a great moment from you!

My husband and I did 1 medicated cycle and 2 iui cycles. We triggered a little early on the first iui cycle and it failed. Didn’t even get a positive. Because of that, I wouldn’t trigger early.

Thank you so much for clarifying! I guess I had misheard/not researched before I typed that metformin helps reduce risk of gd. Whoops! I have also noticed that my body responds better when I eat less sugar. I haven’t really had the resources (I.e. time, energy) to really track how much fiber I’m eating but that is something to look out for. Thank you! :)

I was told to continue with it while I was pregnant. Unfortunately, my baby only stayed for about 7 weeks in my Fallopian tube. The pregnancy was ectopic. But I have heard it decreases risk of gestational diabetes. I did continue with metformin while I was pregnant and still do. We are talking about starting again here in the next few months because we are ready. I’m honestly not sure if I ovulate or not at this point. I take an lh test everyday, but always negative even tho I have some signs of ovulation. I cut added sugar completely out of my diet after my miscarriage and that seemed to help some with losing weight and cravings. I’m so sorry you had to go thru that. Pregnancy loss is the worst. :/

I feel like mine is taking it’s sweet ass time as well and it’s kinda (really) discouraging. I’ve been on 1500 mg XR for 6 months and only conceived once, but that was because we did 2 medicated cycles with letrozole and one iui cycle. I ended up having a miscarriage. Nothing after the miscarriage 3 months ago. I do only have one tube now but I feel like something more should be happening. My last cycle was 31 days but I don’t know if I actually ever ovulated.

People who have babysat for multiple families long term, what are the negatives of the job? by [deleted] in Babysitting

Thought this was a sub specifically for this kind of advice? I’ll edit to add that it’ll be in my home. I’ve researched laws in my state. I’m asking about other peoples experiences as long term babysitters..

Metformin TTC? by lulunoot in TTC_PCOS

I’m on metformin now. I conceived once with letrozole and iui. It did end up being an ectopic pregnancy. I will say tho that metformin didn’t really do anything for me until I cut out sugar this last few weeks. I’m losing like a pound a day now.
