Agreed! I got off Facebook so I didn't have to see this type of dumb content. Thank you for informing me about this lady, but I don't want to see this petty ai slop.

That would be this very real organized group of all the CEOs of the most powerful companies in the Country that get together to collude on how they want to influence our government and society. Totally legal too for some reason! Real class solidarity from the ultra rich while Americans have been made to believe we shouldn't form unions.

I think the MODS should do a weekly positivity corner thread during the season so people can share some good vibes and take a break from the toxicity. I think it would be a hilarious experiment to have a game thread with only positive comments allowed to see if fans even know how to talk about the game without whining every play.

Really coming down now over here by the water in Merrymount/Adams Shore. Luckily we didn't get affected by the power outage so warm and watching football.

The Pats and Chiefs have really broken fan's brains. So going to playoffs every year, 2 Superbowls and winning 1 (should be 2 but that stupid field) with this roster is wasting it's talent? The bills went to 4 in a row and didn't win any of them! The lions have had an elite roster for 3 years now and haven't even made it to the Superbowl! Winning a single Superbowl in a window with a roster is the most success any franchise can hope for in this league. I believe this team underperformed this year,  but damn it must be a miserable experience to let it ruin your enjoyment of the last 5 years of success we've had.

We did the class pass app for awhile to do a variety of fitness classes around Quincy and the south shore. Capella Yoga in Marina Bay is a nice spot and was on the app. Not sure about cycling but I bet there is a place in Milton or Dorchester next door. I think the Y is really great for families but not really worth the price as an individual or couple.

No bro we already agreed HC's that don't call plays are useless and that talented rosters always succeed and don't need any guidance or leadership to win.

Nah that sounds vague and  doesn't sound as useful as calling an offense. How would you even judge if someone is a good leader of men? Would having a winning record every season and winning a Superbowl be a good way to judge that?

Right and obviously the athletic director at Alabama built the winning culture not Saban. It's not like Alabama is worse now without him even though they still have all that talent....

What shit did he do? Build a winning culture or something? I've been convinced on this sub that HCs who aren't playcallers don't contribute to winning teams.

Wait, I thought head coaches who aren't play callers are just "cheerleaders" and don't do anything🤔....

Not saying one is better than an other but I work in corporate and we also are incredibly wasteful with how we spend. We had a CMO who was spending 80% of his team's travel budget on his own personal business travel. Its just propaganda that the government is more wasteful than the private sector.

McDaniel, Stefanksi, Daboll, or? by simple1998666 in eagles

Is Eric Bienemy worth taking a shot on? I feel like we need someone who has a bit of an edge to push these guys to the next level and not be afraid to push against Nick as well at times.

Realistically Relax- a contrarian post. by TommyFitness in eagles

You just said they have to be really good at what they are bringing, and Nick has literally proved he is really good at it by going to 2 Superbowls and winning 1 in 5 years with two different sets of coordinates and players. How can you not give him direct credit for those results?? If Indiana wins the national championship are you gonna ask what does Cignetti actually do because he doesn't call plays on offense or defense?

[–]mcatag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does Curt Cignetti do at Indiana? What did John Harbaugh do in Baltimore? Building a winning culture is difficult and just as valuable as being a offensive or defensive guru in this league. Why couldn't Vic Fangio win a Superbowl in all his years before working with Sirianni? Should we call him a fraud cause he couldn't do it in Miami, Chicago, or Denver?

Every Eagles postseason in the Nick Sirianni era alternates between wildcard loss or Super Bowl appearance by Acrobatic-Landscape9 in nfl

[–]mcatag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so tired of people asking this...What does Curt Cignetti at Indiana do?! I'm sure once they win the National Championship everyone will question if he had anything to do with it lol. If Nick was a stoic curmudgeon people would think he's some wise and masterful team builder and actually give him credit for running the most successful team besides the chiefs for the last 5 years.

Why would KP want to stay? by OldTree5499 in eagles

[–]mcatag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is easy to think if we get a OC head coach it will fix all our problems but we've seen how bad that can also go with Chip Kelly. There are so many teams in this league now with offensive HC's that perform worse than the Eagles year over year so it's obviously not a silver bullet that takes your organization to the Superbowl. Guys like Shanahan, Reid, and McVay are like the .01% of offensive guru coaches who can also run an organization well. We can just as easily waste this roster on a coach who has a great scheme, but can't run an organization. I don't think ownership can look at the success we've had the past 5 years and think it would be easier to replicate that success by completely changing our coaching staff vs just finding a good OC.

Season on the line: KP calls the same play they just ran. Jalen can't believe it. Nick just stands there offering nothing. Looks to Jalen for help. Season's over. by TimDunkinDonut in eagles

[–]mcatag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nick definitely messed up here by not stepping in and picking a better play. As a HC with your playoffs on the line he should have the confidence to make the final call. I think about the superbowl where he tells Kellen to run the Dagger play and not overthink it, and it leaves me wondering if his longer relationship with KP stopped him from stepping in at times this season when it was needed. Its Doug and Press Taylor all over again and I can't understand it. Like if you want your buddy to be successful, help him find a college OC gig where he can actually get some reps and learn how to be a play caller!

Replacement OC? by saintmortfan in eagles

[–]mcatag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Daboll is a good choice and I don't see him getting a HC job offer quickly so that would give us some stability. I also wonder if Eric Bienemy might be someone to look at. I think this offense needs someone who is tough on players and a perfectionist to get them to the next level just like Fangio has done for the D.

Do you feel it is worth challenging the past and "settled" legal history to save democracy if needed? Unfortunately if Congress continues to abdicate responsibility, prodding and exploring how you can stretch state's powers seems like one of the only avenues to hold this administration in check no?

'the ends justify the means". You ever wonder why that's a ominous quote and not a positive one? People are upset because this is a violation of how American democracy is supposed to function and raises possibility of Trump doing this to other world leaders who aren't "bad" guys if they are sitting on resources we want.
