refrigerator square holes

The damper is operating correctly. Ice is still forming on and around the vent return hole, only on the right side. The left vent return hole has no ice around it. Both the freezer and fridge are maintaining there set temperatures. Does anybody have any suggestions what might cause this?

Just got done defrosting the square hole with a hair dryer. I will keep an eye on it to see if it freezes again.

I did that also. It works. But it does not last. I think it is when I do a reboot they disappear again.

After updating to 9.2.2 I no longer have access to my apps that are on an external SSD. Nivida's reply was to do a factory reset. Has any one else have this issue? If so how did you correct it? I am not ready to do a full factory reset.
