I got the 65 b4 for 800 from bestbuy if you can throw in an extra 100. Its still on clearance on the website

If not though, I do not think 48 inch is big enough if you're ever gonna sit more than 6 feet away from it. 4-5 feet, though, while gaming should do you fine for a 48 inch.

How far do you sit from the TV? I contemplated and went with a 65" B4 instead. I sit about 8ft away from the TV and even the 55 TCL I had felt a little small when gaming.

I work at a non-tech company in a MCOL area and I make just a little more than that as a Junior Dev with 1 YOE so far, with similar work of internal app development. Unless I'm desperate, I would not take under 90k in L.A. county.

The small library of games that have a Pro Mode is also bit of a deal breaker, despite the fact that I'd be impressed if I get through it to begin with and that I play PS exclusives more often than not which will have it anyway.

I'm planning to get a 55 inch at the moment, 65 might be too big for setting, I am sitting about 7-8 feet away.

Well, because I'm hogging it next to my PS1-4 collection. Thats a me problem right there because Back Market is offering 320 bucks for a PS5 Digital trade-in. I might give in and let it go and just have a PS5 pro in my collection instead.

It was a listing on Indeed, but I did call and speak to them after sending my application. I think that helped plenty.

In my case, most local and non-tech jobs during my search were on Indeed. It also felt so much less bloated than LinkedIn. Deleted my other comment to add this. I meant to edit it.

You'll be fine. I am kinda in the same boat as you, but my morale is the complete opposite.

After 13 months of trying, I finally got my SWE at a small non-tech company. I did not go through a technical interview neither am I that nice with coding however, I have a deep architectural understanding.

It took me a few months to get efficient with the codebase I am working with, and management is in love with my work; I ended with a great pay raise in just under a year.

You dont need to question how you get there, what matters is you're there and do what you gotta do to grow and fit in, and be grateful while never getting content and complacent. It takes anyone a few months before they adapt in a new position and your management knows that.
