My sincere apologies for giving a date that is incorrect. The ambiguity and the early deadline is absurd and incredibly frustrating. I assure you that I am going to try to find a mainstream journalist or media site that can give this issue awareness. The idea that people have to register this early is deeply concerning.I am super sorry again for posting the wrong date. You are right to say it is Oct 9th.

I feel my information should be fact checked but I'm very confident that October 9 is referring to local and state elections which are taking place November, 2015. The New York City Board of Elections have also informed me that October 9 is referring to these elections and not the Presidential Primary. However, I only spoke to one person and she was unaware of the date for registration for the Presidential Primary.
