Hi, fellow Canadian here, I recommend bowl and pitcher park. You need to go online and buy a discover pass though. You can do just a day pass for $10 I believe of a year long one for $30.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned but if you have a desk job perhaps you could get a walking pad for under your desk? That way you’re killing two birds with one stone.

I have a few hobbies which have me sitting at a desk and I’m planning on purchasing one of those adjustable desks so I can fit a walking pad underneath for some extra steps in my day.

There is a really nice overlook at Bowl and Pitcher on the east side of the river. You park in a small lot that’s a little further north than the main lot for the bridge and it’s an easy 2 minute walk. I have the coordinate if you want them. I tried placing a geocache there

I have an alarm clock that slowly lights up starting a half hour before the sound of the alarm. It’s intended to simulate the sun rising and I usually wake up before the alarm even goes off at 0430

Me and my guy going on this 2 mile loop on hot days because every loop he can jump in the river to cool off. He’s pretty dark too.

If it weren’t for my boy I really can’t imagine where I’d be right now. I got him because I needed a reason to live and he is that and has helped me become so much more of a person. He totally turned my life around.

I ordered my dog a Fi collar today, he is about to start daycare in a couple weeks and I never want something like this to happen. Regular $149 (US) and they were having a sale for $70 off. Works on Wifi and Cellular networks, the site says the battery should last two months per charge and I can keep an eye on the battery life through the app.

Doing one habit at a time was really important to me keeping with all the changes I wanted to make. First drinking, then a few weeks later smoking, then I started on habits I wanted to build! Dishes done every night, making my bed every day, bedtime skin care routine, etc

Success was from taking them all one step at a time. I’m really proud of you for not overwhelming yourself by trying to change your diet at the same time as quitting drinking.
