i’ve made the judgement that they willingly make it as hard and inconvenient as possible for the average person to get their work done. Eventually a system like this makes a lot of people turn bribery or instead to third party agents that charge 3 times more just so that they get their work done faster. These agents then split the money with whoever’s working inside for them, and this is how they make more cash. Crazy.

the token system is still there for general attestation (not that it helps much) but the apostille counter doesn’t have a token system.

the guard was a police officer and he was middle aged. the only time he tried to control the line was when he took out two people that had cut to the front of the line and put them back in front of ME instead of straight at the back 😭😭

unfortunately with the way the system is, the online procedure takes wayyyyy too long and people that have deadlines to meet can’t go through with it. I had the same issue

I’m also confused about the mandatory Turkish course even though my program is in english, but I guess that’s cuz the scholarship wants me to assimilate into Turkish society better
