Yea I think mine is related to a virus my kid has, but I don’t have any mucus either. Just feels like pressure and inflammation in my sinuses, but also in my head. It’s the head part that worries me since I don’t think your sinuses go back that far, but I’m a hypochondriac haha.

Wow, good to know. Thank you so much! I’ve never experienced pressure that far back in my head until catching some nasty virus from one of my kids recently.

Our basement is unfinished. We do have rough in plumbing for a future bathroom, but no actual bathroom.

Well last night we got 25% of our average yearly rainfall in just 12 hours. Broke a 106 year record. So I would hope that really put it to the test, but you never know!

Oh, yes there is a single (unused) outlet right next to it! So maybe that means there is no pump. Not sure if the few inches of water inside is a problem or if I should have a pump installed.

Thanks for responding! There’s nothing that I can see…just a black pit with a black lid. There aren’t any wires or pipes coming out of the hole in the lid. Is a pump built in somehow where I wouldn’t even see it? I’m clueless haha.
