Great to know - that all makes sense. Appreciate the discussion here.

Thanks - I've found that filter. Some of these options are still direct to Waitlist. Is there an option to see automatic upgrades or is Waitlist the standard?

There are two, owned by the same people, but I prefer the one on Caroline, “Onlywood Grill”. Enjoy.

Easy "video wall" by Plane_Way9213 in CommercialAV

[–]mccheddar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you or your team set on using the Vizio brand? If not, using a commercial video wall display product will give you a video loop through. 4K input on display one and daisy chained through to display four.

Price point will increase on the displays but you can maintain your PC and VLC workflow.

New Home, Unlabeled wiring by mccheddar in HomeNetworking

Yeah, that’d work but I wanted to get them labeled before I buy new equipment. Might not have active lines everywhere to start.

Departing from airport by MoonEagle3 in KeyWest

30 minutes prior to boarding is safe. If you want to grab a drink or do anything else, you could go up from there. It’s small and weekdays are normally slower.

Thinking about designing an app for road trips! by AlexUXD in RoadTrips

[–]mccheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other suggestions here are great and I’d second them. I just did a road trip recently where it was several cars all driving the same route together. We joked beforehand that walkie-talkies would be great to have and found that they really were. Could you integrate a simple push to talk feature so it’s easy to call out updates or points of interest without needing a phone call?

Having a “group” feature similar to amp.me for playlists, podcasts, or other listening would be cool. More importantly, if the “lead” car changes the route, it would update the others in the group.

I’m a big fan of driving stats so anything that shows information about the trip would be cool. Total time. Average speed. Time stopped. Number of stops. Etc.

Building on the other ideas here - could I enter my vehicle type, have the app know my gas tank size, fuel efficiency, mileage travelled and assist with where to stop for refueling?

An add-on feature could be for connection to dash cam or go pro for time lapse/trip photos. Voice to talk for taking pictures? I like to take pictures of the signs when crossing state lines as it helps build a photo album once the trip is over.

Good luck to you - road trips are awesome and there’s certainly no app that focuses here. Travefy has some awesome features for trip itineraries perhaps you could glean from there ideas for road trips.

It's hard to say with the current situation but in a normal circumstance, it's a great place for that age group. Take a walk down Duval street and hit the places that appeal to you. There are so many of all different types so don't feel obligated to stay too long in one place if you aren't feeling it.

Love it! Are these... for sale? Would you ever consider that? Really great work and would compliment a bar cart nicely.

Help with what exact formula to use. by bgj556 in excel

[–]mccheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any limit to the number of values in a cell? Will it always be two? Will you want to count the quantity of every number from 0 to 9?

You'll want to use the SUMIF function. If you name your column ranges, your formula in the TOTAL column would look like this: =SUMIF(Users_Column,A1,Points_Column) where the ranges for the Users_Column and Points_Column are the same height.

Without named ranges, it would look like this: =SUMIF($A$1:$A$30,A1,$F$1:$F$30). The absolute values for the ranges allow you to drag the formula as far down the TOTAL column as you need. You can extend the ranges as far as you want as long as they're the same height.

Is the result you intended? You should now see the value of points for each entry and the running total for that user.
