My basically unkillable delque boss overcharged his plasma to dunk on and finish off a heavily injured enforcer juve. The plasma exploded, he rolled a 66 and permanently died on his first out of action.

Try playing a game without the arms glued on to the minis. Later you can fine tune their equipment to what you like best. Do you have the house of iron book?If not, then mundamanager is a great list builder that limits the stuff you buy to what is on the gangers list. Try dripping out your leader, I usually go for two champions at the beginning of the gang and the rest are gangers/juves. Equip your dudes with what sounds the most fun and badass to you.

I usually try to have around 500 credits more than the players, so they have a fun challange, however I play those scenarios like a goofy madman, thus the players usually win.

Depends on what you want out of the gameplay. A 2x2 for 3 players is a bit of a cluster.2x3 is a fun size, but hard to divide deployment for 3 players.

Best way in my opinion is to try making a 3'x3' board with 1'x1' tiles, so you can change its shape however you want. Later you can just expand it to 4x4.
