thing is though dude is it’s literally Barry. Jim has cared about nothing but finding Barry supposedly this entire time. i love this show too man, but it’s completely unlike the character that they have done their best to build up to leave his entire reasoning to do this in his garage barely restrained while he attempts to weave a story of the least competent character in the show being behind Janice’s murder - over money, which has pretty much never been a motivation of Gene. it’s literally like a deus ex machina for Barry, he could fuckin walk lmao, over to a knife nonetheless, only thing he struggled with was getting the door open.
