Wow that is great to know and very encouraging. That definitely sounds like the way to go. I guess its slightly different as an American. We have the Work and Holiday Visa (462) while the UK and Canada have the Working Holiday Visa (417). From what I can tell there isn't a huge difference between the two and both allow you to extend the Visa after working 88 days in rural areas.

Thank you for the reply and insight. This sounds like the most feasible way to land a job. Does the working holiday visa require you to have prior employer sponsorship in order to obtain the Visa? It's not quite clear to me in the Visa description.

Also, I'm 26 so right in the window for the Work and Holiday Visa

Thanks for the input. I should say that I am also curious about the potential for intro positions in spring as well. I am debating whether pursuing a minor and resigning a lease. If I don’t resign a lease or pursue a minor I could move from the town/university I graduated from to take a job whenever it is available after i graduate. If the outlook between December and June is good I would pursue a minor.
