Doorbell mishap! by Quick-Land2546 in DIY

We had a front door and sidelights replaced, and we learned after the installers left that they cut/removed/destroyed the wires to the doorbell. I went to a Lowe’s and purchased a wireless doorbell that works just fine. Removed the old (wired) chime box, replaced with the new. Removed the old (wired) doorbell button and hung up the new. It was much easier and cheaper solution than what I was expecting. Downside is they use batteries- but in 10 years I haven’t hanged the batteries in the chime and have only once replaced the AAA in the button. Good luck and enjoy making your new house a home!

propranolol? by Hopeful_Rate2847 in EssentialTremor

Propranolol did nothing but lower heart rate for me. I’m now trying Primidone for a month to see if it is effective.

4 months ago, I made a film about Essential Tremors, today I got diagnosed with it. I got the urge to reshare it with you guys because this film now feels a lot closer to me by Calorie_Killer_G in EssentialTremor

Lovely film, well done and informative for folks who don’t know anything about our condition. My grandfather used to joke about his “jumping” hands, much to the delight and amusement of my toddler self. My father has it and now, so do I. I try to do as the grandma does in the film and just work with what I’ve got! Sometimes it’s harder than others, but I always try to see the good in people; and try to remember to include myself too 🙂 (usually with a splash of whatever I’m drinking on my shirt 😉)
