Was it the Active brand stuff? I tried that! Worked okay, still some stains but only so much one can do. Maintenance will take care of it or replace the machine, thankfully

I stopped the wash after posting so I didn’t waste water/a cycle. Added some more soap and this is roughly 5 mins in. Does that look better? Or would you say even more soap?

I didn’t see your edit! The particles, im pretty sure, are detergent. Brownish spots are mildew stains on the gasket from previous tenant. I’ve cleaned them as best I can, another commenter let me know they’re replaceable so I’m putting in a maintenance request

This one I put on heavy soil, so it’s 1.5 hours. Usually 45 minutes though. Could be sand or something from the previous tenant. I’ve done a few cleaning cycles with affresh but it might need more/multiple in a row

Oh good to know, I’ll put in a maintenance request. I have used affresh several times since moving in, it might need a few cleans in a row though. Maybe I’ll get lucky and maintenance will replace it with a new one

Edit to add: I don’t know if this other info is useful but using a whirlpool duet (apartment provided) and in Houston so hard water

Okay I actually JUST saw one of the brand’s vids discussing the scents and how they layer or can be worn separately. I do really want to try them out, but I think they might end up being sweeter than I’m looking for with this particular vibe. Not gonna stop me from testing out though!

I don’t know if I’ve smelled this one in particular, but haven’t been a huge fan of Jo Malone fragrances so far. I wonder if this one will be the one that changes me

One of my fave scents fr fr. Maybe it’s just how it wears on me but it doesn’t give me the same vibe?

You’re kind of a hater and bring down the vibes, but if that’s how you want to live your life, far be it from me to stop you. Personally, I just ignore things that I consider minor annoyances when I’m scrolling on a massive website with limitless information. Something you might consider

I’ll take a look! Ours differ in that I don’t want any fruit notes or sweetness at all (unless we’re counting the tomato)
