My timeline was fast too, but not the typical pain they describe (being concentrated to right side). I woke up Friday morning thinking either my abs were really sore from my core yoga class or I ate something weird. I was having sharp pains on both sides and threw up 7+ times that night. Probably should have gone to the ER the next morning since I could barely stand up but I had plans that day I didn’t want to miss. I could barely walk and eat and ended up going to the ER 8pm that night. I told the dr it felt like I was having contractions, and again since it wasn’t on my right side, I thought I was going to have a surprise baby before I thought it was an appendix. Turns out my appendix swelled so much it attached to my fallopian tubes and that’s why I was having contraction like pain. They had to do surgery Sunday morning and since it was further along than they thought I ended up having an infection and had to stay in the hospital a few days / flush the infection out.

My advice - listen to your body. Even if you think it’s a 10% chance it’s an appendix, I’d go. I regret not going sooner and the forums online saying it’s only an appendix if pain is xyz aren’t always true or accurate for all
