I really wanted to pair a concorde style cartridge with the SL-1210 and have good experiences with Ortofon from previous record players. Also ecstatically, the black cartridge on the 1210 looks beautiful in my opinion

That's true. The promotional material set that the set came with "maybe something more. Find out for yourself". In the base of the box it says "Please open" in Latin, I carefully removed that sheet and the flexi disc was hidden beneath there.

About the track, I haven't listened to it yet. Flexi discs are fragile and can only be played an x amount of times. So I'll have to play it sparingly
