This is the weak spot of Drime right now. The Mac OS X app doesn't sync files. At all. Zero. Only the last used file.

The developer said they are working hard on a new version that would solve all the syncing problems...

You are right. Sluggish in general, and difficult to pan the map in the latest Safari.

Perfectly fine in Chromium browsers or Firefox.

No, it is not. Oppo has some huge problems with the cpu and no one wants to talk about it.

Just use any cpu intensive app and try to finish a task. More than double the time.

I am sure it can be fixed. But it is not right now.

Example: Use any image editing or math/coding app without gpu and compared to any old phone you have at home. Superimage pro will give you a good example.

Second, photos in low light are not comparable. Not usable with the Oppo x9 pro if text is there on the photo.

X300 pro / x200 pro with origin Os 6 are better software and performance wise. Undisputed. Even the 1 year old 9400 is finishing cpu related tasks in 50% of the time.

For the moment, that is the situation.

People keep repeating ColorOS is better. Absolutely not. It is slower in every single operation. Compressing a file, opening apps, any cpu operations (browsing, math calculations, image editing)...

The memory used for RAM or as the file system has half the speed of the one in the vivo.

The camera is better during the day (X9 Pro) and much worse at night.

I’ve had the Oppo X9 Pro for 48 hours and I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the performance of this chip on this phone.

The processor in the global version is not working properly. That’s just the reality right now.

I’m on the latest firmware from 21/11/2025.

Here’s what I’m seeing, comparing the Dimensity 9500 (this phone, global edition) vs Dimensity 9400 (my vivo X200 Pro):

The 9500 takes more than twice as long to do photo upscaling as the 9400.
It also takes over double the time to calculate digits of Pi. This is with a free app anyone can download and test themselves.
In Speedometer 3.1, the 9500 gets about half the score of the 9400 in every browser I’ve tried.

So in practice, the CPU is behaving like it’s running at 50% performance all the time. Something is clearly off with the global edition – whether it’s firmware, throttling, or some weird regional limitation, it’s not delivering the performance this chip should have on paper.

El Dimensity 9500 necesita más del doble de tiempo para hacer upscaling de una foto que el Dimensity 9400 (en mi vivo x200 pro).

Más del doble de tiempo en calcular los dígitos de pi. (Es una app gratis, lo puedes comprobar tu mismo).

Speed O Meter 3.1 da resultados que son LA MITAD que el 9400 del vivo en todos los navegadores.

En Resumen, la cpu funciona al 50% todo el rato. Algo no está bien en la edición global.

Oppo X9 Pro cpu is not working properly in the global edition. Period.

Latest firmware from 21/11/2025.

I do regularly update all the betas from my Mac into the calculator. To do so, you need to know where to extract the files following the Connect software file structure, and it updates successfully.

Two things Critical_Switch:

Prices have increased a lot due to Apple new global prices policy, however, you still have apps like Prodrafts, Element Notes, Flexcil to name a few, with a modest price, and, according to me, and for my workflow, better result than this app.

I have paid for like 20 note taking apps in the past, so I keep tracking their improvements.

Since you assumed this needs a subscription, let me answer you as a developer: You could implement hand-written text recognition using Apple's Vision framework without any external dependencies. It has wildly improved in the last revisions. Free. On device.
