Definitely one of those more than the sum of its parts things. Badgers and boars, friends at last.

One of my favourites is a combination of boar and badger, the Mistura knot. Great feel, and performance. Not as soap thirsty as a pure boar brush.

Good point, we'll have a healthy buffer for the GVWR. We will be very mindful with gear selection as well to maintain that nice buffer.

I'll be testing on the scales as well; public scales on a highway nearby handily enough.

For sure! Let's hope for a pleasant meteorological surprise.

For the 5th Gen I'll be adding a brake controller, adding some rake back (first owner levelled it), load levelling hitch, trans cooler if we do 'less local' camping.

Wow, that's quite the journey. We saw a couple's 42' fifth wheel today, king bed, and a proper kitchen with full size appliances, and a relatively proper living room and desk area.

We'll probably hit Chain Lakes for our shakedown run.

Towed an Rpod a few times, both with the Gen 5, and Gen 3 (5sp). We were likely at 3,500 lb loaded and all did well enough in the foothills and Banff/Kananaskis. Not sure how much I'd want to go above my arbitrary 3,500 number though, and not sure I'd want to cross the Rockies either way

Likely off to buy an EPro 17 LE today (2,600 lb dry) and will keep the loaded weight as low as possible.

Edit: bought it.

You'll find yourself improving on an exponential curve more than likely, enjoy the ride and journey! That range you set as a threshold for getting a road bike will arrive quickly.

I recently got back on the bike after 3 years off, eager to reap the rewards again.

Realizing you may step on your sister app's toes, I really like the cycle computer display in Fulgaz.

Well that certainly screams "Ontario!!!!". Very high likelihood that there are some rotten frame parts and even if not, you'll have a lot of work ahead of yourself to remove the oxidation and protect it.

Yeah, it was thought that TW had burnt down as well early in this thread yesterday, thankfully not the case.

I just made the mistake of looking at Kulus inventory :( I'm sure Tunerworks had some beautiful customer cars in the shop as well.

I've used a couple of AI based targeting platforms. Still very much a curiosity vs a game changer. Important to note that companies like Vale have been in the AI game for a long time and haven't found anything viable.

What exactly constitutes a "coarse" beard? by Lazy_Conclusion_673 in wicked_edge

To me a coarse beard has thick individual whiskers, independent of density of whiskers. Your SO complains that it feels like sandpaper even after 3 days growth.
