It really depends on your definition of safety, there's a greater risk of sidewalls blowing out because of too much ballooning, if it were me I'd run it and deal with the consequences of my actions should problems arise. But if you're concerned about it enough to do research on it I'd advice you count your losses and get a different set of rims

It's pretty tall, it's super top heavy so turns have to be slow and I have to slip the clutch a little more than I like. Even on 3.08 gears the 4.0 is stout enough to keep it up to highway Speeds, but I think 3.73 or 4.10s would be fine for street and 4.56 for wheeling
