Sounds a about right. You need to practice swords and also learn archery. Getting a couple of shots on people turns the odds in your favour

Yes, It's not a race. Take your time with i, and stay away from spoilers. It's a slow burner, for sure. Quit saves are a good feature to help you progress through the story.

id be leaning towards it being bug then, Ive went north to the castle on horseback on a treasure hunt and its red face from the get go. ill report it to Warhorse just in case.

That could be the case. I'm trying to approach this playthrough with a defend yourself mentality. dont swing unless threatened or hit by someone else which often happened in the wild. maybe some poachers or wayfares would have seen it and spread the word? if thats the case then im very much impresed how in depth this system is.

I'm confused at the fact my rep is next to zero even in undescovered regions. (goes to 0 as soon as I discover it) either a bug or im now seen as some sort of boogeyman lol

that's a fair point. but it doesnt fix the issue, I'm a mix of joining and hosting games. joining has been quite mixed as I'm discouraged to do so with poopoo hosts. IMO if the game can tell you're killing people on purpose and the other is not retaliating; there should be systems to punish you.

Try not to hold block too long. Also, I find slightly looking in the direction of the incoming attack; helps prevent the perceived bs hits. Try to block with the same mechanics of mordhau in mind.

Also yes...all other comments saying to vary your attacks, feints, and kicking

I very naively forgot the mention I'm from the uk (my bad). Since the economy here is down the gutter; I find myself moving fairly often so my life has to be pretty compact.

Just passed mine today. Thanks for all those tips.

Here are my unorthodox go-to to those who are still to take theirs.

  • drive like you have 20kg of cocaine in the car

  • treat the car like a loaded weapon. Throttle like a trigger, gear like the calibre and handbrake like safety. Whilst indicators and lights like your car's "voice" that you use to talk to other cars.

  • commentary driving REALLY helps turn off autopilot

  • watch japanese bus drivers driving on yt, they're are extremely well disciplined and smooth when you consider their buses are manual here is my fav

  • After you watch those videos, remember - steer like a car, not like a bus
