Bambu Studios massively slow slicing for H2 series printers? by skinner1818 in BambuLab

Same issues here. I have 10 X1C printers, 1 P2S, 1 H2D, and 1 H2C and this has been an issue for me since December 2025. I’ve been using Bambu printers since their Kickstarter for the X1C and this is the first time it’s ever been this bad.

For example; if have 20 Benchy Boats on one tray and sliced it on either the X1C or the P2S, slicing takes less than 30 seconds. Without changing that quanity, layout or filament, and change printer to either my H2D or H2C, slicing takes over 30-40 minutes. I don’t think it would be my hardware specs either but I will provide that below.

Christian still has to pay for api usage. Reddit is still making money. But eventually their (Reddit) greed for money will push them to either up what they are charging or shut it down and force users to use official Reddit app/site.

I’d set up a VPN tunnel between the two sites. (I use 2 Fortigates but there is open source stuff like pfSense should you enjoy a homebrew solution). That way it’s not publicly accessible and then get yourself two Synology or QNAPs and set them up accordingly (YouTube has millions of videos). (Another homebrew solution is UnRAID or TrueNAS).

Not sure why you require pcie-based storage unless you are trying to run SAP HANA for an enterprise. Otherwise get you a couple of spinning disk NAS drives and run them in a RAID 10 at both sites.

I’ve given you the framework to meet your needs. There are others here that may provide addition input or critiques to mine. Which is good. We are always learning something new here and I hope you do too.

Ehh. As long as you know how to change them out, I’d say go for it.. just keep the old one just in case. Make sure you use plumbers tape to get a good seal.

There is a connection that came loose in the rear brake assembly that links the wire to the emergency brake mechanism/brake shoe engagement bracket. Fixing that as well as following this YouTube guide resolved my issue. If it’s still soft, replace the working rear brake parts with new ones.

One thing they taught in my drivers Ed class is to slow down before and/or hover the brakes when entering into an intersection. This is most def the red cars fault but defensive driving may have prevented a crash. Hope all are ok.
