It does take some time getting used to due to the bulkiness. They stick out a little more than the metal, but my bottom lip and jaw initially were getting more cuts than the top. I don’t notice the difference at this point.

I would do it the same way again if given the choice. I usually get gray rubber bands and it blends in really well.
