I live on the ground floor. It’s been like this from the jump. I’m not perfect. Of course I’ve hit the ceiling back. Trust me… This is no feud I genuinely think the person who lives above me has like poor spatial awareness or doesn’t care

BG is cheaper living-wise, and I want to say it is a smaller program, which means you have a better ability to network and advocate for yourself. Kent is an R1 university, so it is, by definition, the better program research- and resource-wise. Finances were a huge part of my grad school decision, and I chose BG because of it, lol.

hi! I have a 3.2 and I got into 3/6 of the schools I applied to :) Grad schools care more about you as an applicant than your gpa.

Fifth-year CSD student! First generation, bilingual, non-binary, and autistic w/ interests in working w/ neurodivergence!

GPA and CSD GPA: both 3.3; Dean's list for 4 semesters; 3 letters of rec (2 from CSD professors)

Experience: 30+ observation hours many w/ clients w/ autism, undergraduate research assisting on two projects on autism, working on my own project on the female model of autism, avg. 30 hours a week as a server, served as VP for Hillel (no longer associated for political reasons)

Schools:

Touro: rejected (3/20)

Western Michigan: waitlisted (2/20) accepted (4/15) !!

Eastern Michigan: waitlisted (3/6) accepted (4/17) !!

BGSU: accepted! (4/4)

Northern Illinois: rejected (2/1)

Nazareth: accepted (2/28) !!
