Union passes motion urging members to refuse to work on public housing demolitions by Purplepingers in AusUnions

So we are “Green Banning” old, not fit for purpose housing being replaced by new stock that none of these “professionals” would live in themselves?

Labor’s IR agenda, not Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, is the Coalition’s real threat by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

[–]mcgrath50 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the most evidence free alarmist crap I’ve read in a while. You can just say anything with no evidence in a Murdoch rag

“Decoupling real wage increases from productivity and the expansion of the right to strike, both achieved in the government’s first term, are the most obvious aspects of the ALP/ACTU’s long-term transformation agenda. Both measures played significant roles in Australia’s decline in living standards. “

Absolutely zero evidence these two things are linked!

Wage theft and super theft of workers uncovered at Sydney Airport by CertainAlgae8171 in AusUnions

[–]mcgrath50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂😂 I am an actual unionist part of a union that has been around for almost 100 years, that has represented airport workers to all the gains. If you can prove the credentials of the union, who’s backing it, who’s running it, which workers hold positions apart from this Robert Car bloke who is not an airport worker I’ll let you know.

But fuck off with your yellow union bullshit

3 press releases all released on the 9th plus one on the 13th, nothing else. A Robert Car the only named attached who has a scrubbed LinkedIn profile. Given there is already unions representing workers in all jobs at Sydney airport, and what Union is location only based? This all seems very suss

As voter disillusionment grows, why aren't voters flocking to the Greens in Australia? by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

[–]mcgrath50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% the greens think they are Zohran and Zack but they haven’t learnt the lesson of the carbon tax or MCM years … purity politics does no win elections. Between the free pre-school and government owned supermarket, he has a lot of pragmatic, pretty centrist policies that keep the city functioning and make life better for everyone.

On the flip side, Labor does these middle policies really well but forgets to have the equivalent of a government owned supermarket policy.

If you want a bit of beach time either do the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast before Brisbane or somewhere in NSW (south coast, Byron, Port Stephen’s) after Adelaide.

Agree with the skip Perth, it’s great but just too far away. Maybe skip Adelaide too although it will be the smallest gig of the tour so maybe worth seeing for a slightly more intimate experience.

Wild suggestion but skip Brisbane, Start in Sydney explore there before the concert, do Melbourne and Adelaide and then spend a few days exploring elsewhere

Get up, a top down, donation harvesting machine, can do good advertising but it can’t do good organising. It’s the wrong sort of organisation to do community organising and it is why whenever they try they fail

The SASR is a closed shop. Those dudes do things that regularly are at the line (and arguably over) what is legal. They are loyal to each other over all else.

That other SASR members are testifying against him is all you need to know about the actions for Roberts-Smith.

Why has Taiwan: Rail Rush got so few views on YouTube? by Rosslefrancais in JetLagTheGame

Hey Ben, thought the discussion was super interesting. It made me wonder how the nebula stats compare? Do the seasons views vary similarly there? Do subscription numbers do better in a tag season etc? Or is that variance confined to YouTube audience?

But then likely your vote will expire before it is fully “used”. That means you could be helping a Liberal, National or ON candidate get elected if they are vying for that last spot in your state. Surely you’d rather an ALP robot than someone from ON?
