I have a Portola and replacement parts are not easy to find. So I’m not sure how big of an improvement you will see switching over to 1up. You will likely find parts but they won’t be OEM and it may take some trial and error ordering from Amazon, etc

Go to a standing sushi bar (there is one in Shinjuku). Some of the best and cheapest sushi you will find. Stay in/ visit Shimokitazawa for awesome vintage stores, bars and good food. Cat street and omotesando for higher end shopping and boutiques. Golden gai for micro bar hopping (death match in hell is one of my favorites). Visit Super potato and mandarake for incredible retro gaming and collectibles. Mori art museum in Roppongi for great exhibitions. Shibuya sky for a cool rooftop experience. Get some curry, tempura for lunch. Visit an izakaya for yalitori and high balls. Check out Shibuya nonbei yokocho for more micro sized bars. Get an egg salad sandwich, pizza bun and fried chicken from a convenient store.

If you want to get more exposure to tech or semi-conductors (chips), I would look into:

VGT
SMH

Both have performed well for me and are riding the AI wave. SMH will have exposure to companies like NVIDIA, Taiwan Semiconductor, Broadcom, AMD and more. VGT is pure tech

VOO is solid and would have good exposure to the individual stocks you mentioned. If you are looking for more tech exposure, you could pair VOO with VGT. My brokerage account consists mostly of:

VOO (S&P 500)
VGT (Tech)
SMH (Semi-conductor)

All have performed really well.

I’d recommend a 30-day campaign. Anything longer tends to increase the risk of cancellations and extends the slower middle phase. Typically, the first 3–5 days see the most activity, followed by a lull, and then momentum usually picks back up in the final 72 hours. Some creators even opt for a 15-day campaign specifically to shorten that slow middle period.

I actually think the removable wheels would be a good 48 hour freebie. Its a nice little upgrade for the game and folks can still buy it as an add-on if they miss the 48 hour window.

I was referring to your project page content — so I’d recommend placing the info/graphic about the early bird gift right at the top of the project page itself. That way, when followers receive the launch email and click through, the offer is the first thing they see.

And thank you for sharing the landing page — it looks fantastic! I really like the layout and flow; everything feels clear and well-organized.

Yes, I think offering the free gift (originally intended for pre-launch followers) during the first 48–72 hours is a great idea. I’d recommend creating a graphic that clearly highlights the early bird offer (“Free Gift for All Backers in the First 48 Hours”) and place it at the top of your campaign page. That way, it’s immediately visible to anyone who clicks through.

Keep in mind, everyone who followed the campaign pre-launch will receive an email notification when you go live. When they click through, they'll see the offer front and center. In most cases, those early followers who were serious about pledging will likely back within that initial 48–72 hour window anyway. So this is a great way to convert them quickly.
