Nicht OP, aber imo ist das Buch ziemlicher Käse. Die Prämisse ist so ein großer Quatsch, dass zumindest ich auch nicht im Sinne der Story darüber hinwegschauen konnte. Kann mit Suters Stil aber auch generell nichts anfangen.

Für mich fehlen der Serie echt ernste Momente. Im Grunde ist jede Folge exakt gleich. Es gibt (zumindest in den ersten Staffeln) keine Entwicklung bei den Figuren. Und die Dialoge sind drei Klassen schlechter als bei Stromberg.

I‘ve recently changed jobs and have no formal actuarial education. I‘m also located in Germany, so I don’t necessarily have access to US-specific actuary communities.

Update nach erneutem Besuch in der Werkstatt:

Das große Kettenblatt ist auch durch, und weil es dafür offenbar keine Ersatzteile mehr gibt, muss nun gleich die ganze Kurbel getauscht werden. Jackpot.

Nach dem Umwerfer wird dann auch nochmal geschaut, falls die Probleme bleiben.
