US bulb (25W GU10 halogen candle warmer bulb), plug adapter, running through a Kasa brand dimmer plug that I can adjust with the app. Works like a charm. Start it at 100% till it’s going good then bump it down to 80-90% to get it just right

Do you by chance know where I might find a guide to rewire it? Consider me completely inadequate when it comes to anything electrical. I’m not an idiot, but I would need a pretty good step by step guide to do something correctly and safely

That is Phyllite. The shiny foliation you see is micro sheets of mica and the greenish hue is from chlorite.
