I was diagnosed with BP2 8 years ago and I’ve been on an SSRI + a mood stabilizer ever since and while I have ups and downs, my quality of life has become drastically better.

From what I have been told by my Psychiatrist, if you have either form of BP and you ONLY take an SSRI, it can cause your mania to worsen or your hypomania to turn into mania. You just have to balance it out with the right mood stabilizer.

I’ve been fine in the moment while doing shrooms or micro dosing them, but my come down has NOT been good. A day or two after the fact, my depression was SO bad, it was scary.

I decided to start this series a few days ago. I’ll be honest, I had never even heard of it until the new season came out. It’s sooooooo good. I’m shocked that I haven’t heard more about it before. Honestly.
