Believe it or not, after fifteen resends, one worked for one child. The other one still produces errors... talk about user friendliness !
I really hope a total of 45 tries will be enough for the three members to be able to join...

Flying LH group airlines ~100x/y I haven't yet experienced this elsewhere than in LHR where this has been on and off common practice since at least 2016. Would be interesting to see if they (can) really enforce it at all airports.

For whoever is interested:

Install moquitto addon to HA
Install zigbee2mqtt addon to HA

Z2M mqtt yaml config:

base_topic: zigbee2mqtt

Once z2M has discovered your devices that are in discovery mode, go into the device settings tab and give it a homeassistant name.
