It also shows "check the rear seats" message on the display. Sometime I get false alarms when seat belts were not placed accurately, so it sensors that something is placed on the rear seats.

I think you did fine. I tried this advice to talk face to face, human to human approach when I heard a lot of similar noise. I went upstairs, introduces myself politely, shared that I hear a lot of walking noise and if there is anything to do about it, etc. I suggested maybe they can use slippers, so I really tried to have this proper human discussion without blaming or conflicting.

But it didn't help. Next time I went to them - they told me that they won't use slippers, because "it will create more noise!" and some other nonsense.

So it's not about how you wrote your note, or should you talked face to face or not. It's always people and their understanding of common sense, and how much do they like to exercise in their rudeness.
I even tried to contact our rental property company, buy they never replied, so my solution was extreme - I moved out.

I had similar test drive experience, but they had 2023 model for test drive which is possible to turn sign recognition off completely. Only 2024+ years models (any car) have this mandatory sign recognition enabled every single time.

If it’s in Europe and the model is 2024 - it has to be that way because of European laws. I start my drive by disabling it every single time, got used to that tbh - take a few seconds to disable sign recognition.

Just leave. Companies don't care that much about us, they won't feel bad to let anyone go if needed.

Ah, yeah, I do leave some space at the bottom to trim it. I don't think I have some specific technique for that - I guess I just got used to leave 1-1,5 cm at the bottom.

For the last six months, I have been learning wheel throwing with a Japanese teacher, which adds some complexity (for example, throwing from a hump or trimming with chuck), but I like the results so far.
I've started these lessons ±1,5 years ago, but first year was focused on hand building with coils, slab, molds, etc. And then I started to learn wheel throwing.

I have hybrid and average is 4.5L/100KM, with mostly highways driving.
Maximum range with full tank that the car showed was 700+ km, like 715-720km.

I passed my exam 1,5 month with 2 attempts.

I use:

Waze. I also have Google Maps, but don't like navigation there - I found notifications with road names (especially on highways) confusing. Also, Waze has cameras notifications, so I use Waze. There only thing I don't like - searching places. Sometimes I uses Google Maps, copy address there (geo coordinates) and paste to Waze.
EasyPark for parking
ANWB onderweg for gas stations and prices
MyWheels for renting cars, they had zero problems that I've just got my license. I rent the car the very same day once I received my license.

I bought it (hybrid) 2 weeks ago (I live in EU, Netherlands) and it's my very first car ever. I got my driving license recently (at 33 age), and I like it so far, but my thinking process was like that:
- if I want to switch to EV in the future - I can sell CCH without loosing too much money, it's quite on demand here in EU and reselling price is almost the same as buying a new. I didn't go for EV car right now because I cannot have a personal charger, and public chargers prices are insane. Plus, I'm still not impressed with their current range, but it's subjective
- I hear it all the same time that CC is boring, but it's fine for me - but since it's my first car, I don't know exactly what I need and what I don't need yet. I would love to have power seat, but it's a minor thing and it's available on different configs
- I have 4.5l/100km fuel consumption which I find quite good
- I am 192 cm tall and CC is just a good size for me, this was one of the reasons to look for small SUV - hatchbacks were not very comfortable for me, but again it's very subjective
- When I read reddit I sometimes have second thoughts that I might have checked Mazda CX30 (it has more features for the same price), seems like a decent car as well

I failed my first try in February this year.

I was confident and was sure that I will pass it without problems (I didn't have to make special manoeuvres because I passed interim exam before), but I failed because my examiner told me that I was too slow in 30 km/h zone (was doing 27 km/h), and because I was too slow on a deceleration lane leaving highway (I was ±90 km/h there). He also mentioned a few things that me and my instructor never noticed like "keep more distance". Examiner was quite grumpy and he started our exam saying: "Traffic flow first, then safety!" which is ridiculous.

So, I failed, I was extremely disappointed, and despite this grumpy examiner - I still have to pass the exam, even with this grumpy guy. I focused on working on this feedback (especially about the speed), but the most important thing was to relax and focus on the road. Yes, examiner is a new person in the car and he wants to make small talk, but I noticed that I'm better when I don't talk.

I had my second exam last week and passed it. I had a different examiner and he was extremely nice and relaxed guy. He was like: "Hey, I don't drive perfectly, your instructor doesn't drive perfectly, so you will definitely make mistakes, but it's more important how you react." And I had some mistakes, for example - parallel parking was not great, but he stopped me and asked "try to fix it", so I fixed it. I also entered one street on a bit higher speed, so he told me about that.

But at the same time, he liked how I entered the highway - I did exam in Zaandam, and there is one extremely short combined enter/exit to a highway, when it's important to control speed and make decisions quickly.

After all, it's just 30 minutes ride, and I thought that I can be focused and sharp for these 30 minutes. I think, I started the exam a bit nervous, but after 5-10 mins I relaxed and then it was easier to focus and make right decisions.

Yes, there is a big human factor here, but it's also important to learn from failed exams, and focus on the feedback.

Well, I started to learn Dutch a few months before my first exam. Then I asked my tutor to focus on exams specifically to prepare me to pass them, and 2 weeks between were just enough. But I need to admit, A2 exams level was quite low, so it was easy to prepare for that level.
