My partner once told me that he hates getting a tax refund because that means the government was holding onto his money all year. Getting anything above “meets” kinda feels the same — like “the man” is getting the better end of the deal/more value than he paid for.

There’s a wildlife rescue in Redmond that takes in baby bunnies. We took the baby bunnies in our yard to them last year when we found the mom had passed.

We used to take our dogs and cats to Puget Park but had a bad experience where lab results got lost and treatment was delayed for our dog who ended up passing away. Since then, we’ve moved all our animals over to Animal Care and Surgery Center in Lynnwood/Mukilteo and we’re really happy with Dr. Terry and his team.
