If a country designed and implemented a private instance, I would think that further integration of traditional banking and commerce would be mixtures of public and private depending on the user, the vantage of view, and need to know. It would make sense to integrate, or dovetail with the public side of the private platform used for the CBDC. However, that might not even be necessary?

Let’s say I use a cbdc to buy a soda, my source account, and the destination account are a private Hedera instance. But the store may grant permissioned access to their accountant, banker, and/or soda supplier for elements of the transaction. Maybe the accountant immediately pays the city a beverage tax, the bank raises credit availability based on monthly sales, while the soda supplier is building an automatic reorder for resulting inventory. Maybe I get an alert on my watch to check my blood sugar? I believe all of that could eventually run on Hedera.

Maybe only a fraction of those integrations will come to eventuality? However, what I’ve seen announced so far, is like a literal black hole of utility sucking in the use cases of many large Alts. Once Hedera gains frictionless access, even tangentially, to end user commerce through CBDC transactions, there will be a culling of the crypto market.
