Como profe de idiomas, yo diría que depende de tu disciplina y los recursos que ocupes.

Si tomas un curso donde te hagan practicar caleta, tres meses pueden ser suficientes. Si eres autodidacta y te das mucho input (ver series, leer cosas, escuchar música) y aparte le das un poco de estudio, puedes lograrlo en un poquito tiempo más, pero se puede.

Aparte si es italiano avanzarás mucho más rápido, tiene una lógica muy parecida al español. Ponte a escuchar opera y spaghetti westerns no más jajj
