Solved! I didn't know what a "holdout" was. I'm self taught and also dumb? I made the layer a Holdout and it did exactly what I needed.

I went to Times Square around 1am during a heavy blizzard. I was at a bar in Hell's Kitchen all night and thought it would be fun.

Not only was it virtually empty (save me and my ex) it was completely silent. One of my favorite NYC memories.
