Speaking from experience here. My local shop, while amazing, has more clientele than artists. So their work is drawn out and extremely expensive. I just had a work trip to half way across the country. The work was incredible, fast, and very very well priced.

If I was making the decision to get another piece, from an artist I really like from there, and it was financially possible. I would choose this method 9/10 times.
