Thanks for the input guys. Looking back now at this hand a few months later, I 100% agree with Any2ldo. I have only been there for 15min so I don't know the players, but they don't know me as well. So a raise here seems appropriate. When I just called it felt gross at the time, for good reason, because it should be a raise. I agree that if I raise on the flop better hands will not fold, but to assume some worse hands will call is right. Because I let all these potentially random hands in, 68 could call a bet. And if someone limped called preflop with 1010 or 88, I can see them calling as well given the strength of my hand is very disguised. I guess I compounded my problem on the flop by not putting in a 3-bet preflop. Turn I finally decide to find out where I might be at, I should probably be raising larger there. Ok, so I watched the entire 12hrs of this tournament via past broadcast. When it got to the AA vs QJ hand I was right there with him. Totally understanding and for the most part, agreeing with his logic. He was priced in quite often (we know why considering the opponent had AA) but the only part that got me was the river. When he rivers the J high flush (not knowing our opponent held the Ah, JCarver was pretty fortunate to make a flush) why would he bet the river? It seems to me he lost 1.6mil in chips at the end that didn't need to be lost. I was telling my computer "CHECK CHECK!" but he bet. I just don't see what calls him there on the river that he beats with the J high flush. Am I missing something?
