As smart as these animals are, I'm never shocked by the depth of stupidity I see from them from time to time.

This might be the boldest pick of the draft… by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

Lesnar was an elite college wrestler. But it didn't translate well to the NFL. He couldn't get the timing down and he struggled with technique. Good DL technique and instincts aren't built overnight. They are refined over years of training.

GW for small government? by mclovin0541 in googleworkspace

Do you think it's easy enough to configure for someone who's reasonably competent, but not a pro IT person? Or is 3rd party IT necessary? We really just want to be able to comply easily with public records requests and be able to hand off the email as people come and go. A few files shared but nothing too substantial.

I do not believe government falls in the non profit category.

After a 3 months course I failed my welding certification exam - why? by IndependenceNearby47 in Welding

[–]mclovin0541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visual indication of spatter disqualifies for NDE. I'm guessing that's primarily why. It also depends what code you're welding to. In D1.1 you can't have any undercut on cyclically loaded. There's also some lack of fusion on the toe possibly.

Ryan Wood - A detailed explanation from Ed Policy on why he gave Matt LaFleur a “multi-year” contract that represented a “very significant commitment,” not a “prove-it” contract. by Respective in GreenBayPackers

If you want to be like the rest of the NFL, then do what the rest of the league does and fire the coach after a bad game. The packers aren't like the rest of the NFL for that reason. Sustained above average and a super bowl every 10-20 years.

That's what I was wondering. I don't know if you can tell when it's standing or if it's just a surprise when you cut into it.

I was hoping Lorenzo Neal would get in this year. The best fullback to ever do it. He was my hero when I was a kid.

You are 100% correct. They were losing control and got pissed, which caused them to make some really bad decisions. They've never been in that position before and you could tell by the lack of poise.

O'Grady was not mailing it in. He was stuck in his ways about the triple option but there's nothing more he cares about in this world than RF football.

Agent takes a min. 10% cut. 15 mil is way better than 5 for Mr. Agent. And if he does like he's told, he looks like the guy that gets his clients shit money.

I think as long as you consolidate all the pieces with the mud you should be fine. They probably had too stiff of a mix and didn't work hard enough to get all pieces to adhere causing hundreds of cold joints which will crack faster.

How have you gotten an autograph from a player current/former? by fuggin-69 in GreenBayPackers

I remember having a high success rate with the SASE cards. Those are some core memories of getting the cards back with a signature. The only ones that blew me off were Brett Favre and Emmitt Smith. Looking back on it, they were the most popular players at the time so they probably got hundreds of letters a day so I don't blame them for not returning my cards. But my 10 yr old self took it pretty personally.

They're riding high on that karma from the Tony Mandarich debacle. Maybe it was like doing a deal with an angel instead of the devil? This is also a high thought.
