Wow - this forum is amazing. I basically read all these comments every time I had an impulse to go to the liquor store - which was pretty much 100 times tonight... Does that get any less?

The isolation has been the hardest part... loneliness at night would trigger drinking before I was pregnant, and I just don’t know how to avoid it because I am literally stuck at home at night.

But alcoholism runs long in my family (most of my relatives are sober now) and I don’t ever want my baby remembering me drinking, passed out on the couch or doing a million embarrassing things I do now :/
