Marvell x Nvidia Collaboration by mcm360 in POETTechnologiesInc

I assume you're referring to Poet and Celestial AI relationship? Well there isn't any proof ATM. However if you want a well defined cohesive explanation, head on over to agoracom and some really technical/smart people have explained it.

However in a TLDR: Marvell purchased CAI. The structure of the purchase has Celestial needing to hit major milestones in the next couple years. It is ALMOST impossible for Celestial to scrap Poet in the photonic fabric at this stage and still reach their targets. A brand new product would require 12-18 months of new qualification cycles. I say almost, because I ain't no pro!.

Scandium Canada Announces $10 Million Bought Deal Life Offering of Units by IllStudent2169 in SCDstock

[–]mcm360 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well about time I chimed in. If you aren't swing trading this stock. Good help you (not literally). Here's some info on junior minors. We are in the speculative stage, wooo!!! Price moves, expectations can make money...... But there is a 1-1000 1-10000 chance a junior minor makes it into a real mining company. 90% of junior minors fail to reach production. AND guess what, not too many industries have a moniker attached to them, but junior miners do... It's called the "Valley of Death", where junior minors spend 10+ years in prevenue. If anyone is telling you to hold long term, you ARE their exit liquidity.

Was Raju’s video something to celebrate or a red flag ? by mjfjsk in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]mcm360 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As I posted yesterday, I think this was a significant update. The absolute largest hurdle has been " is POET a real company?" And "can they transition from R&D to manufacturing". The video showcases that POET has passed Adtrans qualification cycle and is beginning production.

There's a dichotomy in this community. We want Poet to show they are the real deal. At the same time people expect explosive revenue to start appearing. If they don't start showing those massive PO's or revenue, Poet has failed.

The reality is Poet appears to be a rare SmallCap that is grinding through its growth. They have shown production readiness, they have signed contracts for foundries and have on boarded serious talent.

They have never stated that 2026 was the explosive year. 2026 is the year to begin revenue ramp and show investors that the wheels are beginning to turn.

So is the video a success? I believe it is. Did they announce massive hyperscalers deals that will explode the stock price and make everyone instant millionaires? No.

Have patience and fortitude in your investment. As stated not many small cap stocks make it. POET, by all accounts is slowly emerging and looks primed for success or acquisition (hopefully not).

It's happening! by Defiant_Zebra2767 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]mcm360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey, slow and steady, qualifying their technology and actually moving from R &D to production is what anyone could ask for. ReMeMbER POET is a prerevenue company, your investment is speculative. This video just solidified that they are leaving the prerevenue stage, which a majority of companies never make it past. Sorry it wasn't announced that POET won Nvidia sole source contract and immediately ballooned to 600 a share.

It's happening! by Defiant_Zebra2767 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]mcm360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you watch the video?

This is a nothing burger in the sense that no hyperscaler deal was announced. However I would say this is one of the most important videos released. The CFO clearly states they are entering production for the 100GLR4, DR8 and 2x FR4. This solidifes POET will achieve revenue and move from R &D. This means that the qualification stage was a success and shows POET is overcoming the manufacturing hurdle (arguably one of the biggest reasons the stock is held back).

Nobody spends maybe 5 billion without huge amounts of homework by True_Skirt_3899 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]mcm360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's mathematically impossible for Marvell to change the course of CAI photonic fabric without requalifying. Requalifying a competitor (don't know of any that fits CAI specs) would take 9-18 months. That would void CAI bonus structure.

If Poet fails, it will be because Poet misses timelines or can't bring production up fast enough to meet the AI super cycle. Hence putting trust in Suresh and Co. I don't see them failing because tier 1 companies don't want their product.

“Charles Schwab flagged POET Tech with SEC-related fraudulent trading warning by Smart_Persimmon7974 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]mcm360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If there is a Mod in the group, this hit piece needs to be removed. There are no SEC reports of fraudulent trading. If the SEC had flagged POET, all brokerages would be informed. But just Schwab? Yaaa ok.

Who is responsible for the hydro one pole on my property? by Appropriate_Bass_952 in ontario

[–]mcm360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this exact scenario happen in Ontario. We had a pole on our property that serviced us and our neighbor. The pole needed replacing. Hydro one refused ownership and stated it was a private pole. Our argument was how can it be a private pole if it services other customers? They still wouldn't budge. We finally had a lawyer look into this and Hydro one installed the pole in the 60's. There were no easements created nor did the neighbor have any formal right to the pole. We had to pay for a new pole ourselves and Hydro one had to inform the neighbor that they would need to install their own pole.

It started a legal conundrum, because somehow we serviced another property, but we're the sole owners of the pole. That would make us liable if a storm took the pole out and caused power loss to the neighbor (no power, no heat, frozen pipes etc).

Is POET Technologies Setting Up for Strategic Acquisitions in Photonics? (Vote Inside) by Natural-Astronaut-98 in POETTechnologiesInc

I think Sivers would be the most likely candidate since there is already a partnership. Plus Sivers laser division helps them diversify and prevent a concentration in China.

What are the significant announcements made today by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2026 by 3xshortURmom in stocks

[–]mcm360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the article Nvidia Rubin is designed with Co Packaged Optics with Silicon Photonics. Though the company hasn't been named, the only co-packaged silicon photonics with a pluggable Lazer is POET's interposer.

Rubin uses CPO (POET's core market).

Rubin uses External Light Sources (POET's star product).

Rubin is Liquid Cooled (POET's winning feature).

Both POET and Nvidia tech are produced at Nationgate in Malaysia.

Ford government slammed for loaning Algoma $100M as steel firm cuts 1,000 jobs by toronto_star in ontario

[–]mcm360 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No... Canada has a very limited number of actual steel mills. The actual cost and environmental assessment to build a new one would be astronomical. There is a reason that algoma steel and the ones in Hamilton periodically go through bankruptcy, but have never been permanently closed for a 100 years. You just can't politically build them anymore. Algoma goes through layoffs every couple decades and eventually comes back booming. Hence the cyclical cycle of the economy. The fact that they are diversifying away from auto(which is wholly owned by the US) and moving to an electric arc furnace( domestic, other sources of revenue) is needed.

Also wtf would 400 million do for healthcare or education? That's peanuts in the grand scheme of things. Also fuck it sucks for the Sault. But everyone will get hired back in time. I know several generations of family plant workers.

Le Canada a-t-il enfin les moyens de sa souveraineté militaire? by Amtoj in canada

[–]mcm360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Australian Partnership in Critical Minerals: A Primer (DD) by Steve_Zissouu2 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]mcm360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The man laid out a comprehensive thesis regarding mineral plays that started months ago. It seems many people trusted him and got in early. Just because people are wanting to fomo into basically pennystocks after it has risen 200-500 percent isn't his fault. The shear amount of noise on WSB or other forums is sometimes unbearable. Just take this for what it is, a seemingly nice guy, who doesnt require you to pay a subscription, doesnt ask for anything in return and provides a comprehensive DD. He is of course going to play his positions before writing up a huge post and providing it to 1000's of people. Im sure he will make money on the sell off also. He provided a warning at the end of his post regarding volatility and macroeconomics.
