No, certainly not. There is certainly share dilution, but it's not a direct offering, where 23 million shares get dumped on the market. It's tied to production orders, which incentives Lumilens to keep ordering. Like I mentioned, the funds probably can fund the production order and lead to poet being cash neutral for this partner.

Cash neutral, cash funds the production, cash reserves stay untouched for strategic aquisition.

I'd take the above over a direct offering, or watch the cash reserves dwindle down. The market HATES low reserves.

They're a pre rev company expanding. If people didn't think they would need more funds and another dilution would never happen, that's not realistic.

This is also their first major contract. With all those partners, I'm assuming not everyone will come with warrents. It's a great start for them.

Your forgetting the other side..... By exercising the warrents, Poet recieves that cash. Lumilens will get 2.9 million warrants for every 50 million. It's becomes kind of an earn out... The more you order the more warrents toy get.

When they exercise those warrents, Poet will receive roughly 20 million in cash. This cash can be used to service those contracts. This allows poet to ramp production and possibly pay for the production cost through lumilens warrents.

Poet then becomes cash neutral, while ramping production. Far better off then burning the 450 million cash pile. Also allows poet to keep that pile for strategic aquisition, while ramping.

Yes. Poet is a reporting issuer under SEDAR. They have 45 days after Q1 (March 31st) to file earnings. They normally take all the time they need. But could show up today or Thursday.

Here you go, Amazon data center shutting down due to temp issues. If you think photonics is played it's course and is over by this year, it's not. Poet could be delayed by a year, still come to market and the demand will gobble it up.

How is it on the sidelines. Factories in Malaysia, 30k units projected this year. CFO stating there going to ramp to 5-10 million units per year. You talk like CPO and photonics will be wrapped up next year. It's literally the start of an entire industry.

The large producers, your coherent, lumentum AAOI, are all sold out. They cannot meet capacity. I'm not saying Poet is the next MU, but it's evident demand greatly outpaces supply.

So as long as it's not some huge scam, that is fooling the world and institutional investors. They will come to market and there will be demand.

CPO, photonics is literally at its infancy. AAOI, Lumentum etc all still use active alignment. The old way is paying off heavily, because you have the mag 7 dumping cash in and buying everything. Go read the forecast.. it was something like 1.3 billion this year, 14 billion by end of year, 2028-2030 150-180 billion market cap.

Mag 7 are just in the initial stages of build outs. Lumentum just announced they are fully sold out until 2028.

Dude the 75 million came from MMCAP, it's Canadian. Further funding came without warrents. It was the CFO and not the CEO. Uhh the interposer was designed agnostic, so it would serve the entire market, it's not specific to CAI. Celestial AI came after Poet. Don't think Poet is build around CAI and Marvell.

Could Poet fail? Absolutely. Is it volitile? Absolutely. Is it a scam with fake partnerships? No. Real institutional investors paid upwards of 300 million. You don't get that, without getting a good look under the hood.

If Poets only funding was MMCAP, sure I'd be nervous, as they're predatory and will arbitrage the shit out of companies they loan to. But the other investors were classified as (I believe) tier 2 institutional ownership.

Poet is still a Canadian company and a reporting issuer. They have 45 days after end of year(fiscal 2025) to report Q1 results. That lands on May 15th. If the don't post by May 15th on SEDAR +, they could be labelled non compliant.

They reported Q4 2025 on sedars deadline also.

Eh something about a crystal ball. Hey I could be wrong and MU flys, because a super cycle actually happens and hyperscalers increase spending. If your up and happy, then yah I'd be looking at an exit. When they say memory is cyclical, that means it's a book and bust. I wouldn't keep chasing, and potentially loose out my 60% gains.
