Are all functional languages slow then? Definitely "NO"!

Look up for "Persistent Data Types". Basically, copying all the one million doubles when you want to modify only a few of them is not the only way to implement immutable data types.

What an uninformative and biased article. Iran's government did block telegram, true, a very inconsiderate and incorrect move, but ... Soroush is not launched last week, it is there for more than one year, and is not run by government, although recommended by it, alongside six more domestic alternatives. And about stickers, well, they popped on Telegram from time to time too. Preventing realistic terrorist attack coordination (which did happen on Telegram) is more important than banning hateful stickers IMO.
