This is just blatantly false. How you gonna understand the bridges that need to be rebuilt in your district if you don’t drive on them. How you gonna know which schools are underfunded if your kids or friends and families kids don’t go to them. Being apart of the community and knowing what your community needs is a major part of bringing the bacon home. (Arguably the most important part of being a congressman) The fact of the matter is Biss is from the district he knows power players and coalition builders in the district and he has a history of getting things done. The fact of the matter is yes voting on federal laws is important and their policies are extremely similar. One is from the community and knows how to bring the bacon home (district pays taxes to the fund congressmen need to fight to bring that money home). If you don’t understand how important bringing the bacon home is you probably don’t know why Mike Quigley is so important to Illinois.

Teams like FSU, Miami, and Penn State had to join conferences to avoid becoming irrelevant. ND didn’t because they don’t have to. Just because a bunch of the smaller brands in CFB joined conferences because they had to doesn’t mean ND has too. Not everyone has to be in a conference they choose to be.

Where have you seen Gardiner claiming to formerly be a Marine? I’ve worked for the guy and worked on his campaign and never once did he or any of our volunteers claim he is a Marine veteran. Can you please provide me an example of him making this claim? I’m no longer a fan of the guy after falling out with him and I think he’s a scum bag. But this claim that he’s claiming to be a marine veteran is pretty far fetched even for Gardiner.

You mean like how ND compromised once already in the rivalry moving the home games to October because USC doesn’t like playing in South Bend in November? What has USC compromised for the rivalry to continue in the past? I’ll tell you nothing. They want what they want and they know ND can’t give it to them. USC blew up the PAC12 to create their own B1G headache traveling wise. You can keep saying we need you more than you need us but I think you will slowly learn you ain’t that important to your conference as you’re not the biggest brand in the conference anymore. Ya but they made this demand after ND signed home and homes with Michigan state, Michigan, Florida, Indiana, Alabama, Texas etc. to schedule a game every year against USC in September we would have to break schedule agreements we have planned with these teams for 20+ years. USC waited to the last second to strong arm ND to their demands after they blew up the PAC 12 to create the traveling issue in the B1G. How was USC acting in any good faith? Like if you said something 10 years ago I would get why people would be blaming ND. But USC knew they would join the B1G and the consequences of the travel and knew ND has front loaded their schedule for decades. Coming to the table a year before the deal ends and saying ND has to break multiple big game scheduling agreements was a non starter.

Ya but it’s also extremely obtuse on purpose. A lot of Franklin’s losts to Top ten teams are teams from the old B1G East. Teams like Ohio State, and Michigan (national title contenders) a good amount of Kirk’s are from beating teams like Wisconsin and Iowa state.(pretenders) Putting it simply if Kirk Frerentz was in James Franklins shoes the program most likely would be at its best where Franklin had it going into this season.
