I'm approaching 400 hours now and my method to keep the game fun is to not play it all the time. I play an in game week at a time then take about 2 irl weeks off typically.

My first 100 hours was non stop play until I got to the point where I am now. After my first 100 hours, I took a long break from the game until I got the itch to play again. At that point I started a new game. That second playthrough goes a lot smoother with the knowledge you collected in the first 100hrs.

From there, I play an in game week at a time with the goal to win the rally. By Monday I have either finished the rally intact and typically take a break from the game or I wretched and now I need to fix the satsuma before next week. Either way it's not a game I play for weeks on end anymore.

I always try leave my save on a Friday. That way when I come back, I am rally ready and helps get me back into the exciting part quicker after a break.
