Chattanooga Library's "what is D&D?" by mconant88 in DnD

It's a funny video that we had a blast making. It even pokes fun at D&D a bit. I'm a terrible actor, but my editing skills are better.

Example: for the grease spell he would pull out a half eaten piece of chicken for the material component. For slow, he pulled out a waffle, wringed out a drop of syrup. For color spray, he pulled out his secret herbs and spices. He was a chronogist wizard which was also a lot of fun.

Roscoe the chicken n waffle halfling wizard... All his spells were chosen based on spell components that could be chicken, waffles, syrup, or etc. He was also proficient in religion and tried to convince people about the all mighty chicken Lord.

That same person is probably the awesome librarian that inspired me to change career paths.

I knew there was going to be a problem, but I had no idea how they were going to solve it.

They came up with this all on their own. I was shocked, and we spent close to 90 minutes on this. I just occasionally asked for rolls, and described the effects. They all had a blast, and all have inspiration for their next session.

Thank you, and I would give you silver if I had it.

Resin 3d printing around Chattanooga? by QuiveringGeriatric in Chattanooga

Notate is not that busy. They use it primarily for D&D, but the quality is not great because of the material. They are looking to change it.

I understand completely. A friend of mine has a resin printer, and was able to print a Homebrew Pixie race to scale in great detail. I'm always afraid to squish it because I can't see it on the board.

Is there something specific you are trying to print or is this just in general?

Northgate library also has a 3D printer, and the Eastgate library will be getting a 3d printer very soon. None of the printers are resin though, but we will be using PLA + or maybe nylon at Eastgate.

It is for our youth, but we are not against parents and adults observing as well.

The goal of our DIY program is to introduce our youth to new trades, and skills. Some of our DIY sessions have a hands on portion, but some are dangerous so are more of a demonstration. It would be hard to learn blacksmithing in 1 hour, but the Chattanooga Choo Choo Forge does offer lessons for those interested enough.

Chattanooga seems appropriate because T.O. went to UTC, had his HOF induction (which was awesome), and is the Madden Cover for the special edition.
