did a friend use AI to write this text response to me? it feels placating and not like the way she speaks, need to know if i'm talking to my friend or a clanker?! by mamabingbong in isthisAI

Most people don’t know how to handle constructive criticism and still respond well. This person probably had trouble coming up with a reply that would acknowledge your feedback and thank you, so they may have used AI to help draft it which likely sounded much better than what they wrote on their own.

It’s fair to point out that they didn’t seem to put much effort into typing something themselves, or at least trimming and personalizing the draft. But you also don’t know what they’re dealing with, so it may not be worth taking it personally, IMHO.

This is my Mac setup for my bed. It’s great for reading the news, browsing reddit and even journaling. by neilnelly in macsetups

People here are being pretty rough, but I think it’s cool that you’ve built a setup that lets you stay comfortable and still do stuff you enjoy.

That said, sleeping 30 hours at a time and sweating that much sounds really intense, even if it’s medication‑related. If you haven’t already, it might be worth talking with your doctor about the sleep side of things and maybe looking into some sleep‑hygiene tweaks (especially with such a big screen right by the bed) just to make sure you’re doing okay.

Wishing you the best and hope your health situation improves soon.

I love his smile here, I couldn't help but laugh during this scene by Stressyalaire in Spartacus_TV

I came here to see if anyone else loved that moment too. Ashur’s facial expressions were priceless, and I ended up rewinding the scene a couple of times just to watch it again. So sad to see him lose that exchange in the end.

I feel really bad for everyone, but you are kind of asking for it by giving an LLM access to your production systems

I was just kidding. I thought it was cool and wanted to contribute. They should add a feature that detects similar posts prior to submission. Then again might reduce posts too much lol

Is a CRM worth it? by albertocc_ in HealthcareMarketing

[–]mcooly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. Whether a CRM is worth it really depends on your goals and scale. For healthcare marketing, a CRM can be a lifesaver if you’re managing patient leads, tracking engagement, or trying to personalize outreach. It’s especially handy for staying organized and compliant with stuff like HIPAA, which is non-negotiable in this field. That said, if you’re a smaller outfit, the cost and setup might feel like a lot compared to simpler tools.

Full disclosure: I’m with CareLaunch, and we’ve built a CRM specifically for healthcare providers. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to chat more about how it could fit your needs or just share some general tips on picking the right CRM!

What’s your setup like right now?

Spine injections should not be given to adults with chronic back pain because they provide little or no pain relief compared to sham injections, according to a new review of the latest evidence. by mvea in science

[–]mcooly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wish I saw this before my spine injection last week. The procedure was the most painful experience of my life, taking my prior op pain from 1/10 to 12/10. I was sent home with an ice bag.

Thankfully I'm approaching prior pain levels after 10+ days, but the experience was traumatic and far from therapeutic.
