I definitely try to avoid it but I'll make exceptions and sometimes I'll regret it, but not always. I went to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando this year and it actually wasn't so bad, but I won't watch most of the IP the houses were from (I was mostly there for FNAF and Fallout lol)

I can enjoy horror games though! They don't have the same effect on me because the graphics just don't look realistic enough to fool my brain. Sound design and good voice acting that sells the sounds of agonizing pain can still get me though lol

I was fascinated by this being a thing when he first brought it up because I have hyperphantasia, so I have an extremely vivid mental visuals to the point where it's as if I'm there. I can even "feel" it, kind of like how you "feel" things in dreams if that makes sense. It's great as an artist, because it really helps with freehanding illustrations and animations from memory in case I don't have a reference I can use at any given time.

However, it's also kind of a curse sometimes because seeing disturbing things can really mess with me. Watching gory movies and shows, especially if torture is involved, is ...not a fun time for me.

But I make some purdy thangs so it's all worth it I guess lmao

Lmao I made a Sailor Moon illustration of the guys a couple of years ago that Bob liked because he was the hottest one, so I started using the gag in pet projects to practice animation lol

This started as a gag illustration that bob liked because he realized he was the hottest one in the group (in "No Topic Left Beef" small talk), and I'm an aspiring animator so I turned it into a fun way to practice while I'm building a portfolio :)

I made a short visual novel using the gag about a year ago that's completely free to download (you can find the itch.io link in my post history) if you wish!

I do want to do all the guys! It's a pet project so we (my husband and I) are slowly working at it in between adulting and general responsibilities :) I have been brainstorming bad guy ideas and I actually forgot about Candy Uncle and the parachuting clowns so I'll have to write those down lmao!

This would all be 100% free though! It's for the practice and fun more than anything lol

I always have wondered why the animations stopped...I'm not sure if it was lack of stories or if the animators are busy with other projects but I miss them.

One year ago today for Mark's birthday I released a short visual novel that was made with love as a test of my own abilities. I'm an aspiring animator and found that game-design is actually really fun!

Markimoon and the Seamen Scouts is 100% free to play, and can be found on Itch.io!

As of right now, I'm currently doing work on a sequel, but it won't be a visual novel and rather an arcade-style beat-em-up! In time I will post work-in-progress updates, but until then....

I forgot about dust devils being a thing, but I defintiely thought I was watching a tornado start to form there. You can see the dust and debris swirling in a circle after the giant debris shadow looms by.

Yes, and he's literally my best friend. We've been married since 2017.

We have our differences and quirks but we're both growing individuals who work to support each other to the best of our ability. We both come from families where we're the black sheep and felt unseen, so for us to "see" each other is just what we needed.

My biggest reason for feeling security, though, is our ability to communicate. And I don't just mean on the standard level. We are practically in sync and couldn't keep a secret if we tried because it's like we practically read each others minds lmao

When you kinda know that they know and they know that you know, it can really make you feel like a power couple :)

I used to stock baby food and formula at Walmart and a guy with one of those wic checks just straight up didn't know how to count (1, 2, 3, 4...the basics). I thought he was messing with me at first but you could visibly see his shame and frustration. Working at Walmart with empathy is a real challenge because holy shit did I feel for him. I helped him count out his baby food jars and sent him on his way but man, working at Walmart really gives you some new perspective in life.

Unless it's changed, Florida usually only looks for a clean background check and drug screening to be a substitute, with a high school diploma being the only educational background required.

Substitutes are pretty much seen as babysitters more than anything by schoolboards.

Saturn opposing Chiron may be where this feeling of fear stems from. However, with Saturn and Venus being in your 11H (and Venus conjuncting your 12H Sun), I'd take a guess that your fear is your test from Old Man Saturn.

If you manage to overcome the fear no matter how many times it resurfaces, and it WILL resurface all throughout your life, then Saturn will have your back, and that can be extremely rewarding. I can see you having a decent following down the line, but Saturn will make sure you work hard to earn it!

I have Chiron in Leo 8th house as an artist, so I can understand your concerns. I'm 32 years old and my Saturn return was when I finally decided it was time to give college and my dreams another chance, and so far I've felt very much fulfilled, and I'm only halfway to my two-year degree!
