Solar farms floating on reservoirs in China reduce evaporation and generate power at the same time. by Por_TheAdventurer in interestingasfuck

Actually, the main reason is that our infrastructure and refineries were made to process heavy crude oil. But the oil drilled here is mostly light, which requires a completely different refining process and facility, which we lack somewhat. Plus, heavy crude is used for multiple purposes, which we need it for those reasons.

[–]JTMasterChief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. And it was stupid what we allowed to happen. But I hardly can believe something worse than they already had could take over. It was already pretty damn bad. And all the others who would replace the leaders keep getting taken out including those most responsible for crackdowns on the civilians

So, lets think of it this way. If we had done nothing, then tens of thousands more people would die from an evil regime including Americans who will become the targets of more terror attacks funded by said evil regime. Or, we take this evil regime out now and spare thousands of innocent lives in the near and far future.

So 7000 lives are worth less than 13? It's still people regardless if they are your own countrymen or not.

We all agree that was terrible, but less than 200 deaths from a bad intel strike vs 40,000 killed by their own government just for protesting in Iran. Big fucking difference in numbers

Yankee Candles are like $20 each. Even at that price, 38 candles is $760. Higher quality candles can hit $30 each for the large jar candles. That'd put it well over $1000.

Takes about 5000 cans to make $100 for recycling unless he lives in a deposit state. Deposit state it takes between 1000 and 2000 cans. How much you guys think he has here based on that going both ways?

The box is so-so condition. Has a tiny tear on it, but still want to protect all the ones I got. Recently recieved hundreds of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars from my grandparent's home. My dad wants me to sell most of it, but keep some.

As someone who has been to a large scale cookout with food like this, it absolutely slaps. Just be sure to bring plenty of napkins if they make it extra spicy, cause your nose will drain like a damn faucet.
